SIKESTON -- Daniel Wesley Helton, 79, of Sikeston died Saturday, May 30, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Jan. 10, 1913, at Anniston, Ala., the son of Francis and Minnie Lee Tucker Helton. On Oct. 26, 1940, he married Dortha Cox, who survives of the home.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Other survivors include a son, Daniel Wayne Helton of Sikeston; a daughter, Pat Price of Sikeston; two brothers, John Helton of Arp, Tenn. and Martin Helton of Millineton, Tenn.; three sisters, Lenora Bradford of Brownsville, Tenn., Lucille Roberts of Anniston, Ala., and Effie Kukliski of Markleville, Ind.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Larry Arnold will officiate, and burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
