THEODORE JOHN BRANDS

PORTAGEVILLE -- Theodore John Brands, 64, of Portageville Route 3, died Saturday, May 30, 1992, at his home.

He was born June 20, 1927 in Portageville, son of Sena Elfrink Brands and Theodore Brands Sr.

He was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his wife, Adele Brands of the home; five sons, Stephen and Jeff Brands of Cape Girardeau; Randy and David Brands of Portageville, and John Brands of St. Louis; two daughters, Lisa Dohogne of Cape Girardeau and Mary Samples of Portageville; three brothers, Frank, Henry and Herman Brands, all of Portageville; and three sisters, Jane Priggell and Florence Soherer of Portageville, and Lucy Savaute of Poplar Bluff.

One sister preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Eustachius Catholic Church with the Rev. Fergus Monagham officiating. Burial will be in the Portageville Cemetery.

DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville is in charge of arrangements.
