GRAY RIDGE -- Funeral service for Bertha Mae Vaughn of West Plains was held Saturday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Chapel in West Plains. Burial was in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.

Vaughn, 82, died Thursday, June 4, 1992, at Ozark Medical Center in West Plains.

She was born May 18, 1910, at Gray Ridge, daughter of Marion Franklin and Cloe Idella Ross Harlan. She married Lorin Vaughn Sept. 23, 1933, who died Dec. 31, 1991.

Vaughn was a member of First Baptist Church here.

Survivors include two sons, Lorin Vaughn of West Plains, Larry Vaughn of Festus; a daughter, Laquitta Herren of Jefferson City; two brothers, Edmond Harlan of St. Louis, Hollis Harlan of Pearland, Texas; three sisters, Mabel Sheron and Thelma Lape of Dexter, Elma Brown of Sikeston, and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
