ELCO, Ill. -- William Arthur Lessar, 49, of Elco, Ill. died Sunday, June 7, 1992 at his home.

He was born Nov. 7, 1942 at Elco, son of Joseph and Mable Sharp Lessar.

He was a member of the Elco Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Dickerson Lassar of Elco; two sons, Melvin and Scott Lassar, both of Elco; four sisters, Carrie Dickerson and Sherry Dickerson, both of Elco and Gladys Ramage and Dora Bell Warren, both of Miller City, Ill; one brother, Edward Lassar of Tamms, Ill.; one grandson and one step-granddaughter.

Friends may call at the Elco Pentecostal Church between 6-9 p.m. today. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Carl Land officiating. Burial will follow in Sims Cemetery at Elco.

The Jones Funeral home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
