Leora Meryl Kothe, 78, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, June 13, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 27, 1914 in Louisville, Ill, daughter of George S. and Della Mae Reed Eaton.
She was married to Kenneth O. Kothe June 11, 1932 in Elgin Ill. He preceded her in death June 13, 1960.
She was a member of Red Brush Baptist Church in Elgin.
She is survived by one son, Donald Kothe, Ashland, Penn.; one daughter Judith Kelly, Cape Girardeau; one brother, Floyd Eaton, Scottsdale, Ariz.; one sister, Ruby Roberts, Louisville, Ill.; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
One brother and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with the Rev. Bill Dickey officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
