CHARLESTON -- Lee S. Stubblefield, 78, of Cahokia, Ill., died Sunday, June 14, 1992, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
He was born Dec. 30, 1913, at Charleston, son of Will and Mary Virginia Humphries Stubblefield. He married Mary Marie Tatumn.
Stubblefield had worked at Foster Brothers Manufacturing Co. in St. Louis, and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Cahokia.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Vernon Stubblefield; a daughter, Julia Fidler, both of Cahokia, and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home here from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 2:15 p.m. today at Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating.
