ANNISTON -- Marvin Kenneth Knupp, 57, of Anniston died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, at his home. He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Stoddard County, the son of Ira A. Knupp and the late Pearl J. ANNISTON -- Marvin Kenneth Knupp, 57, of Anniston died Tuesday, June 16, 1992, at his home.

He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Stoddard County, the son of Ira A. Knupp and the late Pearl J. Pullum Knupp.

He lived in Mississippi County most his life where he worked as a house mover for Blackwell House Moving in Charleston. He was of the Baptist denomination.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Friedrich of the home; his father of the Charleston Manor Nursing Center; three sons, Kenneth Keith Knupp and Marvin M. Knupp, both of Anniston and Allen Kenneth Knupp of St. James; three daughters, Melodie Allan of Advance and Rhonda and Tammie Achter, both of Anniston; a step-daughter, Linda Childers of Sikeston; two step-sons, Larry and Jerry Friedrich, both of Anniston; two brothers, Jerry Lee and James Arthur Knupp, both of Anniston; two sisters, Mary Meyers and Doris Coleman, both of Houston, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Amos Johnson will officiate, and burial will be in the Anniston Cemetery near Anniston.
