SCOTT CITY -- Jasper Newton Parks, 80, of Scott City, died Wednesday, June 17, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born July 18, 1911, in Cobden, Ill., son of James and Lieu McDonald Parks. He had been a presser at Ely Walker Manufacturing.

Survivors include a son, Jack Parks of St. Peters.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
There was no visitation or service. Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
