THEBES, Ill. -- Kathleen McCain, 60, of Thebes, died Monday, June 22, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Nov. 6, 1931, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of John P. and Ruby Goolsby Sater. She married Robert McCain Dec. 15, 1956.

McCain had formerly worked at Bank of Chaffee, and Ralph Edwards in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Russell Sater of Denver, Colo., Kevin and Kirk McCain of Thebes, Robert McCain of McClure; four daughters, Linda Cruce, Saundra Prater, Cindy May and Susan McCain of Thebes; three brothers, John Sater of East Prairie, James Sater of St. Charles, Harold Sater of Pacific; two sisters, Evelyn Diebold of Scott City, Jane Sater of Thornton, Colo., and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and sister.

Friends may call all day today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in Cape Girardeau, and Thursday until 11:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Thebes. The Revs. Audrey Thompson and Jim Monahan will officiate, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
