SIKESTON -- Nadine G. McGehee, 76, of Essex Route 2, formerly of Sikeston, died Friday, June 26, 1992, at the Vintage Villa Nursing Center in Dexter.

She was born Sept. 23, 1915 in Advance, the daughter of Harry Edward and Bertha Samantha Baker Goza.

She was a homemaker and had formerly worked as a housekeeper. For eight years she was a foster grandmother at the Kenny Rodgers Cerebral Palsy Center in Sikeston.

On Jan. 8, 1940 in Piggott, Ark. she married Neil Stanley McGehee. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1945.

She is survived by two sons, Richard McGehee of Gray Ridge, Mo., John McGehee, Essex Route 2; two daughters, Marcia Deal and Patricia Perry, both of Essex Route 2; two brothers, Seibert Goza, Mt. Vernon, Mo., Edward Goza, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Bessie Kirk and Rosalie Shelly, both of Sikeston, Ruth Boswell, Trenton, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Six brothers, one sister, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Davis of Idalia, Mo. officiating.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery in Advance.
