EUGENE `PETE' HADDOCK

ADVANCE -- Eugene "Pete" Haddock, 63, of Granite City, Ill. died Sunday, Aug. 2, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 2, 1929 in McGee, the son of John Logan Haddock and Resa Roper Haddock.

He married Cleo Marie Young on Aug. 21, 1954 in Stevenson, Wash. She survives.

He had worked for Shell Oil Company for 18 years. He was an Air Force veteran.

Survivors are one son, Clay Haddock, Granite City; two daughters, Marian Clinton, Bedford, Texas, and Connie Bosworth, Edwardsville, Ill.; three brothers, Virgil Haddock, Yacolt, Wash., Sam Haddock of Lowandes and Johnny Haddock, Lyle, Wash.; five sisters, Ruth Maxwell and Grace Bowman, both of Bolder, Colo., Mary Gooding, Huntsville, Ala., Elizabeth Johnson, Miami, Fla. and Estalee Buchanan, Darien, Conn.; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call today from 4-9 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Service will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Eldo Eaker officiating. Burial will follow a graveside service at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Edwardsville, Ill.
