Lloyd E. "Bub" Sparks, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born April 22, 1922 at Hartman, Ark., the son of Floyd and Eunice Snow Sparks.

On May 10, 1952 he married Marguerite Wright in Piggot, Ark. She survives.

He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1983 and worked as a heating and air conditioning serviceman before retirement.

Other survivors are two brothers, Curtis Sparks of Popeau, Okla. and Charles Sparks of Jacksonville, N.C. and one sister, Wanda Dodson of Commerce. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call Saturday after 5 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Guffie officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
