HAZEL F. ALLEN

LEOPOLD -- Hazel Florence Allen, 89, of Leopold, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1903, at Doe Run, daughter of J.D. and Florence Curtis Huff. She married Maple William Allen July 26, 1924. He died Feb. 18, 1977.

Allen was a member of Pendleton United Baptist Church at Doe Run.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Curtis Allen of Leopold, David Allen of Jackson; a daughter, Genevieve Jones of O'Fallon, Ill.; a sister, Maude Wann of Farmington; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, five brothers, four sisters, and a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to service time.
