DELTA -- Funeral service for Ralph Strange of Wood River, Ill., was held Sept. 11 at Marks Mortuary there. The Rev. Mark Scandrett officiated, with burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

Strange, 68, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1992, at Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Oct. 3, 1923, at Delta, son of Herschel and Ethel Lenand Strange. He and Lorraine Porter were married May 10, 1941, in Alton, Ill.

Strange was a plasterer.

He is survived by his wife.
