ESTELLA ROGERS DAVENPORT

MILLER CITY, Ill. -- Estella Rogers Davenport, 85, of Miller City, died Friday, Sept. 18, 1992 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 10, 1907 in Alexander County, Ill., the daughter of Mide and Venus Morningstar Waterman.

She is survived by a son, John Rogers, Perrysburg, Ohio; one brother, Harley Joe Waterman, Collinsville, Ill.; four sisters, Anna Mae Wright, Woodriver, Ill., Reha Sanford, Canyon, Texas, Nellie Wright, Columbia, Mo., and Martha Callis, Miller City.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Graveside funeral service will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Baumgard Cemetery with the Rev. Jesse Bellamy officiating. Burial will follow.
