WILLIAM C. BRANDT

Private graveside service for William C. Brandt, 1325 Dunklin, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.

Brandt, 68, died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1992, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ill.

He was born June 11, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, son of Joseph C. and Claire Crowell Brandt. He and Ruth Reed were married Nov. 26, 1948.

Brandt had been in radio broadcasting and the music business most of his life. He was co-owner of WUEZ Radio in Herrin, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John and Michael Brandt of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Deborah Scott of Hazelwood; a brother, John Brandt of Phoenix, Ariz., and seven grandchildren.
