CLODEAN HENSLEY

SIKESTON -- Clodean Hensley, 65, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1926, in Clarksville, Ark., daughter of Lonnie and Vonnie Horton Bewley. She and Clint M. Hensley Sr. were married Jan. 3, 1947, at Kewanee.

Hensley was a foster grandmother in the third grade at Morehouse Elementary School for five years. She was a member of First Oneness Pentecostal Church at Morehouse.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Clint Hensley Jr. of Sikeston; four daughters, Barbara Matney of Overland, Iritta Vanover and Mary Howard of Sikeston, Ritta Cole of Morehouse; four brothers, Cleatus Bewley of Russellville, Ark., Glen Bewley of St. Louis, Jerry Bewley of Oklahoma City, Okla., Robert Bewley of Charleston; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Nathaniel Lewis will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
