CHAFFEE -- Leafy Virl Craven, 95, of Ironton, formerly of Chaffee, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1992, at the Home for Aged Baptists in Ironton.

She was born Dec. 20, 1896, in Norris City, Ill., daughter of Thomas and Janey Watson Bagby. She married John Craven, who preceded her in death.

Craven was a member of First Baptist Church here.

Survivors include two sons, John Craven of McLean, Va., Allen Craven of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Charley Shrum will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee.
