JOHN MORGAN

ORAN - John Morgan, 90, of Roan, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1992, at the Missouri Delta medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Jan. 30, 1902, in Alabama, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Morgan.

Morgan retired in 1966 as a farm laborer. He married Ida Ricketts on July 15, 1942. She preceded him in death on Feb. 26, 1992.

He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Oran.

Survivors include five sons, Elton Morgan of Columbia, Tenn.; Kenneth Morgan of Scott City; Delbert Morgan of Sikeston; Stanley Morgan of Lel Granada, Calif.; Dean Morgan of Moberly; one daughter, Bernice Baine of Mesler; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Morgan was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sons, one grandchild, one brother and four sisters.

Friends may call at the Amick-Bernett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Services will be at the Amick-Bernett Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with the Rev. Billy Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Friend Cemetery in Oran.
