SIKESTON -- Fredia P. Penrod, 76, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 16, 1916, at Bessville, daughter of Rona and Lillie Greer Parsons. She married Steve Penrod Feb. 14, 1957, at Doniphan.
Penrod was a retired deli clerk at Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of House of Prayer Church and Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Steve Penrod of Sikeston; four sisters, Byrdine Mills of Sikeston, Juanita Robbins of Millersville, Velma Polen of Marble Hill, and Betty Akins of Auburndale, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Bob Burnes will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park near Marble Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. Rebekah Lodge 533 will conduct a service at 7.
