DORIS JOHNSON

CHARLESTON -- Doris Johnson, 57, of Charleston, died Friday, Dec. 4, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Aug. 10, 1935, in Scott County, daughter of Orvel Vernon and Addie Martin Linebaugh. She and Glennon Johnson were married April 1, 1956.

Johnson was a medical secretary at Ferguson Clinic in Sikeston. She was a member of First Baptist Church here, and American Cancer Society.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bert and Greg Johnson; a daughter, Melissa Johnson, all of Charleston; a granddaughter, and two stepgrandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home after 4:30 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday.
