CAPE WOMAN REPORTS ATTACK
A 19-year-old woman reported that she was attacked on Broadway by an unknown man early Saturday morning, Cape Girardeau police reported. The woman was in the vicinity of Houck Stadium at about 12:30 a.m. when she was approached by a man, police said. A 19-year-old woman reported that she was attacked on Broadway by an unknown man early Saturday morning, Cape Girardeau police reported.
The woman was in the vicinity of Houck Stadium at about 12:30 a.m. when she was approached by a man, police said. Her attacker grabbed her and forced her into a parking lot, but she was able to break free of him and run away.

No injuries were reported, police said.
The incident is being investigated by police and the Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety.
