THIRTEEN AWARDED PRESIDENT'S SCHOLARSHIPS

The following students have been awarded a President's Scholarship to attend Southeast Missouri State University. The scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who achieve an ACT composite score of 24 or score 1110 on the SAT. Students must also rank in the upper 20 percent of their high school class or achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or greater. The scholarship is worth $1,500 per academic year.

Tara L. Davis, daughter of Jim and Kay Davis of Jackson, Mo., will be a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School.

Renee E. Shoulders, daughter of Roger and Annette Shoulders of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Cape Central High School.

Mary T.L. Sooter, daughter of Donna Romanowski of Scott City, Mo., will be a 2001 graduate of Scott City High School. She has also been awarded a $500 Missouri Leadership Award.

Carrie Jo Laurentius, daughter of Stanley and Connie Laurentius of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School.

Kari L. Lape, daughter of David and Donna Lape of Chaffee, Mo., will be a 2001 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School. She has also been awarded a $300 Girl's State Leadership Award.

Shannon L. Scott, daughter of Rick and Christy Scott of Altenburg, Mo., will be a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School.

Elizabeth Leann DesPres, daughter of Gladys Hency of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She has also been awarded a $500 Missouri Leadership Award.

Benjamin R. Martin, son of Russell and Linda Martin of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Cape Central High School.

Gabriel D. Bragg, daughter of Bo and Carol Bragg of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Cape Central High School.

Matthew D. Gerler, son of Dan and Cindy Gerler of Gordonville, Mo., will be a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School.

Ryan J. Bandermann, son of Rick and Pam Bandermann of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Mo.

John P. Frank, son of James and Vicki Frank of Cape Girardeau, will be a 2001 graduate of Cape Central High School.

Matthew E. Palisch, son of John and Pat Palisch of Jackson, will be a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School.
