Friends and co-workers gathered July 12 to say farewell to former Jackson city administrator Stephen Wilson at City Hall. There were refreshments, gifts and flowers.

After nearly seven years as city administrator, Stephen Wilson took a supervisory position with the Missouri Conservation Department in Lake of the Ozarks.

Jim Roach, formerly Jackson's public works director, was the unanimous selection of the Board of Alderman for the city administrator's post.

Roach began his new job July 13.
