Cape Central High School

Valedictorians were Sarah Brown and Stephen Stahr. Brown will be attending the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. She received a scholarship from Procter and Gamble. She is the daughter of Richard and Kathy Brown of Cape Girardeau.

Stahr will be attending Dartmouth University in Hanover, N.H. He is the son of William and Nancy Stahr of Cape Girardeau.

Salutatorian was Cassie Gross. She will be attending Columbia College in Columbia, Mo. She received a Columbia College Scholar scholarship. She is the daughter of Chris and Deborah Gross of Cape Girardeau

Jackson High School

Valedictorian was Brett Price. He will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. He received the Southeast Governors scholarship, Bright Flight scholarship and the JHS Drama Club scholarship. He is the son of Herschel and Brenda Price of Jackson, Mo.

Salutatorian was Amanda Gould. She will be attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. She received the American Businesswomen's Association scholarship, Chapter LA-PEO Sisterhood scholarship, French Club scholarship, JHS Class of 1928 scholarship and the United Methodist Church Cox Memorial scholarship. She is the daughter of Timothy and Cathy Gould of Jackson.

Notre Dame High School

Valedictorian was Herman Lui. He will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and majoring in engineering. He is the son of Andy and Dorothy Lui of Cape Girardeau.

Salutatorian was Gail Heuschober. She will be majoring in physical therapy at Maryville University in St. Louis. She received the Maryville Trustees scholarship, Freshman Achievement scholarship, Residence Life scholarship and Bright Flight scholarship. She is the daughter of Michael and Connie Heuschober of Cape Girardeau.

Delta High School

Valedictorian was Elaine Henderson. She will be attending Murray State University in Murray, Ky. She received a Murray State scholarship, the Cargill Scholarship for Rural America, Mary Maud Hosea scholarship and the Delta Community Center scholarship. She is the daughter of Tom and Carol Henderson of Delta, Mo.

Salutatorian was Erin Cook. She will be attending Webster University in St. Louis. She received the Advance Knights of Columbus scholarship, a Webster University scholarship, Yvonne Neal scholarship, Delta Community Center scholarship, Gerald Jones Community scholarship and the Booster Club Achievement scholarship. She is the daughter of Ken and Diane Cook of Chaffee.

Oak Ridge High School

Valedictorian was Deanna Schreiner. She will be attending St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She received the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Academic scholarship, Bright Flight scholarship, Mae S. Masterson scholarship and the Oak Ridge R-VI Board of Education scholarship. She is the daughter of Marty and Rhonda Conrad of Daisy, Mo., and Doug and Letha Schreiner of Perryville, Mo.

Salutatorian was Joleta Ludwig. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Missouri State Leadership Award, Cape Girardeau County Commission scholarship, Oak Ridge National Honor Society scholarship and the Oak Ridge R-VI School Foundation scholarship. She is the daughter of Lynn and Susan Ludwig of Jackson.

Chaffee High School

Valedictorian was Andrea Dirnberger. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Governor's scholarship, a Bright Flight scholarship and the Mary Hopkins English scholarship. She is the daughter of Doug and Sherry Dirnberger of Chaffee, Mo.

Salutatorian was Aaron Glastetter. He will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. He received the Southeast Regents scholarship and a Bright Flight scholarship. He is the son of Alice Swain of Chaffee and Les Glastetter of Chaffee.

Kelly High School

Valedictorian was Wesley Hamm. He will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. He received the Lone Star Industry scholarship. He is the son of Glenn and Nancy Hamm of Scott City, Mo.

Valedictorian was Rebecca Trankler. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Regents scholarship, Procter and Gamble scholarship and the Wal-Mart scholarship. She is the daughter of George Trankler of Marble Hill, Mo., and Janice Trankler of Oran, Mo.

Valedictorian was Ronald Mills Jr. He will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia in Columbia, Mo. He received the University of Missouri Diversity scholarship, Chaffee Elks Club scholarship, Morley Community Betterment scholarship, MAP scholarship, PTO scholarship, CPA scholarship and the Student Council scholarship. He is the son of Ronald and Veronica Mills of Sikeston, Mo.

Salutatorian was Jodi Klingel. She will be attending Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She received the Three Rivers Incentives scholarship. She is the daughter of Dena Klingel of Vanduser, Mo.

Valedictorian was Colleen Bates. She will be attending the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss. She received the John Millington scholarship and the Academic Excellence Non-Resident Tuition scholarship. She is the daughter of J.P. Bates of Sikeston.

Salutatorian was Emily Lyon. She will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. She received a Curator's scholarship and an Elks Lodge scholarship. She is the daughter of Steven and Marla Lyon of Sikeston.

Leopold High School

Valedictorian was Ashley Jansen. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Regents scholarship. She is the daughter of Lindy and Cindy Jansen of Leopold, Mo.

Valedictorian was Sarah Starkey. She will be attending Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo., and is the daughter of Charles and Mary Starkey of Sedgewickville, Mo.

Salutatorian was Dana Carico. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Patton Lions Club scholarship. She is the daughter of Don and Maryann Grindstaff of Patton, Mo.

Woodland High School

Valedictorian was Lisa Vandagriff. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Governors scholarship and a Bright Flight scholarship. She is the daughter of Mary Monahan of Marble Hill.

Valedictorian was Amber Buehler. She will be attending Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She received a TCU Leadership scholarship and a Coca-Cola scholarship She is the daughter of David and Kim Buehler of Gipsy, Mo.

Salutatorian was Erika Campbell. She will be attending Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. She received the FirstStar Bank of Marble Hill scholarship and the Zalma Administrator's scholarship. She is the daughter of Bruce and Tina Huffman of Advance and Keith Campbell of St. Peters, Mo.

Perryville High School

Valedictorian was Carrie Womack. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Governors scholarship, Southeast Music Department scholarship, Bright Flight scholarship and an Aid Association for Lutherans scholarship. She is the daughter of Ken and Judy Womack of Perryville.

Salutatorian was Johannah Miesner. She will be attending Southeast Missouri State University. She received the Southeast Regents scholarship. She is the daughter of Fred and Diane Miesner of Frohna, Mo.

St. Vincent High School

Valedictorian was Jonathan Paulus. He will be attending Southwest Missouri State University. He received the SMSU Freshman Academic scholarship and the Arnsberg Insurance scholarship. He is the son of Russell and Kathleen Paulus of Perryville.

Salutatorian was Nathan Thomas. He will be attending Knox College in Galesburg, Ill. He received the Knox College Muelder scholarship, the Knox Art scholarship, Knox Social Concerns scholarship, TG Missouri scholarship, VFW scholarship, American Legion Auxiliary scholarship and the Elks Most Valuable Student scholarship. Advance High School

Salutatorian was Michelle Laird. She will be attending Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. She received the SMSU Freshman Academic scholarship. She is the daughter of Lyndell and Denise Laird of Advance.

Valedictorian was Kristine Dillow. She will be attending Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She received the SIU Chancellor's scholarship, SIU Academic scholarship, Lori Boatright Memorial scholarship, Robert C. Byrd Honors scholarship, AJCHS Student Council scholarship, Illinois Merit Recognition scholarship, AJCHS Beta Club scholarship and the AJCHS Spanish Club scholarship. Salutatorian was Michelle Williams. She will attend either Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill., or the University of Texas in Tyler, Texas. She is the daughter of Esley Cornelius of Cairo.

Century High School

Valedictorian was Stephanie Leonard. She will attend Shawnee Community College. She received the Shawnee Valedictorian scholarship. She is the daughter of John and Cheryl Leonard of Karnak, Ill.
