NEW BUSINESSES: NEW OWNERS MAKE PLANS FOR CHILD CARE CENTERS

Jeff and Megan Graviett of Chaffee, Mo., are new owners of the Friends Forever preschool and three After School Kids' Club in Cape Girardeau.

Friends' Forever, 1749 Y Independence, is a preschool for ages 2 through 5. The After School Kids' Club, 2424 Kingsway, is a school designed for older children, 5-12.

The Gravietts are involved in education. Jeff Graviett is a health and physical educator at Notre Dame High school in Cape Girardeau. He also served as Notre Dame baseball coach.

Megan Graviett teaches kindergarten at Bell City Elementary School. She plans to devote full-time to the two schools starting in May.

"We're excited about both schools," said Megan Graviett. "I think the special after-school club for older children is fantastic idea for this area."
