Ninty-two percent of shoppers said they received excellent service while shopping during the recent holiday season, and 75 percent of them said they enjoyed the shopping season, according to a study commissioned by the better Business Bureau of St. Louis.

The study also noted that 15 precut of the shopper reported they did some online shopping, a 50 percent increase over last year.

The study was conducted by Business Response, Inc., a St. Louis-based market research firm, and Emerson Electric Center for Business Ethics, St. Louis University.

While most respondents enjoyed the shopping season, all was not roses. According to the survey, there were the usual complaints of large crowds, difficulty in getting to their destination, and finding a parking space.
