SCOTT CITY -- Josh Uriah Howell, 36 of Scott City died Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
He was born June 13, 1983, in Cape Girardeau to James Eugene Howell and Debra Ann Thomure.
He worked for Illinois Marine Towing.
He is survived by his father, James Howell of Scott City; daughter, Aubrey Howell of Scott City; Aubrey's mother, Micheala Hobeck of Scott City; brother, Jeremy Howell of Scott City; and sisters, Jessica and Julie Howell of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the chapel with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
