MEMO: NEW FURNITURE STORE TO OPEN IN SIKESTON

Big Lots, a closeout retailer, will be opening a furniture department at its store on Southland Drive in Sikeston, Mo., this week.

Living room suites, bedroom sets, entertainment centers, dining room sets and much more will be available at the Sikeston store, starting Thursday.

Of the more than 1,300 Big Lots stores across the country, 36 percent offer furniture.

Big Lots Inc., with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, offers brand-name seasonal products, furniture, housewares, toys and gifts at deeply discounted prices.
