Charlie and Donnie Glueck started Jackson Tire Center in Dec., 1980.

They are celebrating their 20th year in business this year. What started out as a five-bay tire and appliance center is now a nine-bay tire and service center.

Jackson Tire Center recently added four new service bays. Charlie explained that the additional room was needed to give better service to Jackson Tire Center customers. They also added a new computerized alignment machine, which is state of the art. Additional car lifts were also installed.

In 1990 the Jackson Fast Lube was built and was the first quick-lube business in Jackson. Just recently they also expanded and added a third lube pit. This will allow them to give better customer service and move people in and out a little quicker.

Charlie said he has been asked many times what he attributes his success to.

"First of all, there is no substitute for long hours and hard work," was his reply. But the real reason for success goes back to what Charlie calls his "Business Bible."

a.) Always be honest and upfront with customers.

2.) Don't do any work without customer approval.

3.) Pay attention to detail.

Charlie has extended an invitation to everyone to stop in and check out the new and remodeled features at Jackson Tire.
