Eddie D. Dumey has been promoted in the U.S. Air Force to the rank of chief master sergeant. Dumey is a telecommunications maintenance superintendent with the 96th Communications Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base in Valparaiso, Fla. He is the son of Jean Dumey of Chaffee.

Amy Marie Schilling has enlisted in the U.S. Navy for guaranteed training as a cryptologic technician maintenance. Schilling is the daughter of Daryl Schilling and Linda Payne. She is a graduate of Cape Central High School.
Joshua W. Usry has enlisted in the U.S. Navy for guaranteed training as a nuclear specialist. Usry is the son of James and Eldonna Usry. He is a graduate of Dexter High School.
William Joseph Smith has enlisted in the U.S. Navy for guaranteed training in the advanced electronic computer field. Smith is the son of James and Nadine Smith. He is a graduate of Scott City High School.
