The Arnsberg Cemetery Association met Feb. 17, at the home of Paul and Loretta Lowes. Others in attendance were: Elroy Kinder, Norman and Val Tuschoff, Mary Daume, Leonard Adams, Harold Lowes and Dennis Hennecke. Harlan Tuschoff, a committee member was unable to attend.

Among the projects discussed was the general maintenance of the cemetery. This includes a flower bed around the new cemetery sign, rocks to mark the old cistern, continuing to beautify the flower boxes on the graves, improving the entrance to the cemetery and the booklet to be published this fall.

Information for the book is still being gathered. Any descendant of those buried here/wishing to have their children recorded for future generations to identify with, can send their information to Mary Daume, 2483 Co. Rd 510, Oak Ridge, MO 63769. Any information about the church, town or families of Arnsberg, can be given to any member of the committee.

Invitational letters to the annual public meeting is scheduled for May 21, at 2 p.m., on the cemetery grounds will again be mailed. The cemetery is located over a mile west of the 1-55 exit on Route KK, in Cape Girardeau County.
