Kirstin L. Glaser of Sikeston, grand daughter of Marilyn and Ed Rellergert of Jackson, has been awarded a Missouri Leadership Award to Southeast Missouri State University.

The Missouri Leadership Award is a one-year award of $500 designed for Missouri students who have demonstrated leadership, scholarship and involvement. Recipients of this scholarship must have achieved a 3.0 grade point average.

Glaser, daughter of Kevin and Sandy Glaser of Sikeston, will be a 2000 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School in Benton. She plans to major in historic preservation at Southeast. Southeast is one of only four universities in the nation to offer an undergraduate degre in historic preservation.
