BULLET GRAZES MAN

A man grazed across the back of his head by a bullet was not seriously injured, Cape Girardeau police said.

The man and three passengers were driving on South Middle Street Sunday night when the shooting occurred, police said.

The driver made a U-turn in the middle of the street, driving in the direction of Good Hope Street, when gun shots were heard. The driver suddenly felt a burning sensation on the back of his neck and head, Orr said. The driver was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for the wound and released.

Four bullets were found in the body of the vehicle.
