The Southeast Missouri State University athletics department will hold an Easter egg hunt on April 18 in conjunction with the Southeast women's softball game.

All elementary and pre-school children are invited to attend the hunt, which will be held at 6 p.m. at the softball complex at the corner of Sprigg and Bertling. The Easter Bunny will attend the hunt and prizes will be given out.

"The Easter egg hunt is a way to give back to the community," said Alicia Scott, assistant athletic director at Southeast. "Student athletes will be on the field to help out with the egg hunt and the coaches have donated the candy-filled eggs."

Prior to the hunt, the Southeast Otahkians will take on Eastern Illinois University at 4 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader. The second game will follow the Easter egg hunt.
