The $1,009,400 contract provides for widening entrances and adding turn lanes on the highway at several side road intersections from Route W to Route J. Entrances will be widened at County Road 543, County Road 603, County Road 549, County Road 605 and the Hickory Hills Subdivision.

Entrances will be widened and new center turn lanes will be added at Highway 177 intersections at the community of Leemon, Bella Vista Estates, Route V and the M&W/P&G truck lot area.

The improvements likely will require periodic one-lane traffic on Highway 177, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
