Cape Girardeau Mayor Al Spradling III and the McDonald's Hamburglar will take part in a 2 p.m. ceremony today at Grace United Methodist Church.

The project is one of 20 paid for by the Cape Girardeau Transporation Trust Fund, established through a five-year half-cent tax approved by voters in 1995.

In August, the city will ask voters to approve an extension of the sales tax to fund 13 new projects.
