Several people were injured in area traffic accidents over the July 4 holiday.

Stephan Myers, 38, and a passenger, Melissa Myers, 31, both of Marble Hill, were injured when their vehicle traveled out of control and ran off the outer road near Fruitland and Interstate 55.

Ruth Lee, 74, of Chicago, and Alfred Robinson, 76, of St. Louis, were hurt Monday when their vehicle ran off the right shoulder along Interstate 55 south of Old Appleton and overturned.

Adam Holloway, 21, of Jackson was injured Monday when his motorcycle swerved to miss a vehicle that had crossed the center line, ran off state Highway D north of Jackson.

Jedidiah Naramore, 13, of Sedgewickville, was injured when his motorcycle was hit by a vehicle driven by Susan Kelsay, 36, of Cape Girardeau Bollinger County Road 366 near Sedgewickville. Naramore had been traveling on the wrong side of the road when hit, the patrol said.
