SEMO TO HOLD PROP A FORUM TODAY

A forum on Proposition A will be held from 12:15-1:15 p.m. today at Southeast Missouri State University.

Sponsored by the university's environmental science program, the forum will be held in Rhodes Hall Room 121.

Proposition A would place restrictions on billboards along Missouri's highways. A representative of Save Our Scenery, which put the issue on the ballot, will speak in favor of the measure. A representative of Drury Southwest Signs will speak in opposition to the measure. Time will be allowed for questions from the audience, organizers said.

The event is free and open to the public.
