Several new titles have been received at the main Jackson facility of the Riverside Regional Library. New titles in adult fiction include Deck the Halls, by Mary Higgins Clark; Prodigal Summer, by Barbara Kingsolver; The Prometheus Deception, by Robert Ludlum; Shopgirl, by Steve Martin; A Density of Souls, by Christopher Rice; Drowning Ruth, by Christina Schwarz; and Journey, by Danielle Steel...

Several new titles have been received at the main Jackson facility of the Riverside Regional Library.

New titles in adult fiction include Deck the Halls, by Mary Higgins Clark; Prodigal Summer, by Barbara Kingsolver; The Prometheus Deception, by Robert Ludlum; Shopgirl, by Steve Martin; A Density of Souls, by Christopher Rice; Drowning Ruth, by Christina Schwarz; and Journey, by Danielle Steel.

Adult non-fiction titles include Believe, Christmas Treasury by Mary Engelbreit; Christmas Treats, by Sara Perry; Accessible Gardening: Tips & Techniques for Seniors & the Disabled, by Joann Woy; Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean, by Linda Cobb; Who Wants to be Me?, by Regis Philbin; The Beatles Anthology, The O'Reilly Factor, by Bill O'Reilly; and

Natural Blonde: A Memoir, by Liz Smith;

New for children are Cajun Night Before Christmas, by Trosclair and Tony Belfer; and Never Had a Christmas Tree, by Gloria Teles Pushker.

The Book Group will meet every first Monday at the library, 204 S. Union, Jackson. Adults are invited to join. The next meeting will be Monday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The group is reading Nowhere Else on Earth by Josephine Humphrey.

The RRL website at www.showme.net/rrl has information on more new books, audios and videos, as well as other links to a wealth of information.

Copies of the monthly publication, "Currents" are available at the library, containing a listing of new materials.

Fall programs continue, meanwhile: Story Times for preschoolers, Bedtime Stories for families, After School Adventure for Young Adults, Kids on Saturday for all ages.

Call or visit the library for further information on adult, young adult and children's programs.

Middle school students of Marsha Miller will display artwork in the library during the month of November.

The library offers in-house Internet and e-mail access to all. Children and young adults without a driver's license must have a parent's signature.

A library card is not required, but patrons are asked to sign an agreement to the library's acceptable use policy.
