Owens

Twin sons adopted by David and Sherri Owens of St. Louis, formerly of Cape Girardeau. Caleb and Clayton were born Oct. 19, 1997. Mrs. Owens is the daughter of Bob and Virginia Dolle of Cape Girardeau. She is a teacher in Rockwood School District in St. Louis. Owens is the son of Helen Owens of Cape Girardeau, and the late Cecil and Veneta Owens. He is a regional sales manager with Doskocil Corp.

Hefner

Daughter adopted by Kenny and Cindy Hefner of Cypress, Ill. Callie Lakota Balesca was born Dec. 31, 1997, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and weighed 8 pounds. She arrived in the United States June 5. Mrs. Hefner is the daughter of Jerry and Ruby Caldwell of Tamms, Ill. Hefner is the son of Lorene Hefner of Perks, Ill., and the late Clarence Hefner.

Pollard

Daughter to Charles Edward Pollard and Nikki Chanel Gross of Chaffee, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 9:58 p.m. Friday, June 5, 1998. Name, Mistie Marie. Weight, 6 pounds 1 ounce. First child. Ms. Gross is the daughter of Brenda Cannon and Tom Gross of Chaffee. Pollard is the son of Charles Pollard Sr. and Mary Pollard.

Jones

Daughter to Travis Eugene and Lori Jean Jones of Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri Hospital, 10:34 p.m. Monday, June 8, 1998. Name, Krysten Paulette. Weight, 9 pounds 5 ounces. Third child, second daughter. Mrs. Jones is the former Lori Parsons, daughter of Walter and Terrine Parsons of Mexia, Texas. Jones is the son of Travis and Mary Jones of Nederland, Texas. He is district manager with Photolabs at Wal-Mart.

Boyd

Mrs. Boyd is the former Michele Shallow, daughter of Patrick and Joanne Shallow of McClure, Ill. Boyd is the son of Josie Eckles and Josh Boyd Sr. of Sikeston. He is employed at Redneck Trailer Supply Inc.

He is employed by American Water Systems.
