Week Report: Hoffman, a 5-foot-9 guard/forward, had her best week of the season last week, leading the Lady Tigers to wins over Notre Dame and Rosati-Kain. Against Notre Dame (ranked fifth in Class 2A), Hoffman scored a career-high 20 points on seven of 12 shooting. From 3-point range, she hit four of her nine attempts. Two nights later, Hoffman scored 18 points on eight of 13 shooting, including two of four from 3-point range. Including a 17-point game on Monday night against New Madrid, Hoffman has averaged 18 points per game in her last three games.

Season Report: Hoffman is Central's second-leading scorer, averaging 9.4 points per contest. On the year, she has made 50 percent of her 2-point attempts and 38 percent from behind the arc.

Coach's Comments: "We've gone against zones quite a bit the last few games," Smith said. "You have to have someone who is not afraid to knock down some shots. She's our main outside shooter and chances are she'll be in the game if they're in a zone. It's nice to know that we can find her and that she'll hit that three. She's having her best year by far. Her biggest thing is her confidence right now. She just has to maintain her confidence level and her shooting ability."
