BRIEFLY: LOCAL SOCCER PLAYERS EARN 4A ALL-STAR HONORS

Four area high school girls soccer players have been named to the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association Class 4A All-Star Team.

Cape Girardeau Central junior Amber Voerg was selected to the first team while her twin sister Ashlie, along with Jackson senior Julie Wunderlich and Jackson sophomore Erin Hartmann, made the honorable-mention list.

Cape Central was ranked 12th in the final 4A poll.
