FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- For the second straight day, Southeast Missouri State's baseball team left the tying run on base in the ninth inning against the Arkansas Razorbacks, this time losing 3-1on Saturday.

Southeast (0-2) trailed 3-0 going into the ninth inning and after the first two batters recorded outs, the Indians put together a rally.

Jeff Bourbon was hit by a pitch. Denver Stuckey followed with a double down the left-field line, and Zach Barowiak followed with an RBI single to score Bourbon.

Arkansas (3-0) scored single runs in the third, second and eighth innings. The Razorbacks scored a run on a fielder's choice in the third. Arkansas' designated hitter Scott Crossett provided an RBI double in the fifth while Bryan King launched a solo homer in the eighth.

Lanson Debrock suffered the loss, going four innings. He allowed one run on five hits and two walks.

Big league prospect Cliff Lee got the win, going five innings and giving up just three hits and three walks while striking out seven.

Arkansas' pitchers struck out 11 Indian batters.

Stuckey, a Kelly High School product, was the only Indian with two hits. He also drew a walk.
