Jenny Doehring provided a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh in the first game, then hurled a three-hit shutout in the second as Southeast Missouri State's softball team swept an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader over visiting Tennessee Tech Saturday.

The Otahks (11-12, 3-0 OVC) trailed 2-1 going into the seventh in Game 1.

Renee Mueller picked up the win going seven innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out two.

Brandy Henry got the loss for Tennessee Tech (19-22, 0-2), allowing three earned runs on seven hits and three walks.

Kelsey White was the only Southeast batter with two hits in the first game.

The Otahkians used a two-run second and a four-run third to post a 6-0 win in the second game.

White again had two hits for Southeast, as did Josie Earnest and Emma Kisaka. Ernest had three RBIs.

Doehring struck out three and walked none in her outing.

Southeast managed six earned runs on nine hits and two walks against Tennessee Tech's LeeAnn Mongar.
