Chaffee 4, Sikeston 3

CHAFFEE -- Jason Harrell foiled Sikeston's strategy Monday as he singled with two-out in the seventh inning to lift Chaffee to a victory at Harmon Field.

Harrell's single scored Tommy Stidham with the winning run after the Bulldogs elected to walk the previous batter, Dusty Leggett. Stidham, who had two hits and scored three runs, walked with one out and stole his third base of the day. After a flyout, Sikeston walked Leggett to get to Harrell.

"We played real well,," said Chaffee coach Bruce Qualls, whose team improved to 14-4. "Stidham was the catalyst. It seemed like he was on base all day."
