HILLSBORO -- Cape Central's girls soccer team added to its record-breaking season with another blowout, defeating Hillsboro 10-0 Friday.
Central -- after establishing a new record with their 21st win of the season on Thursday -- finished its regular season with a 22-1-2 record.
Goaltender Heather Hey tied a school record with her 15th shutout, equaling the mark set last season by Amy Harris.
Offensively, Amber Voerg led the way with three goals and three assists; Jennifer Daume had two goals and an assist; Rebecca Hellrich netted two goals; and Annie Christian, Corie Nunnally and Ashley Voerg each had one tally. Kim Aslinger and Lorie Bittle both added an assist.
Cape Central's junior varsity team also won 10-0. Tricia Klipfel scored five goals, Katie Hawkins netted two and Leslie Wagoner, Catelin Robinson and Ashley McElereath scored one apiece. The junior varsity ended its season with a record of 13-1-1.
