The Cape Girardeau Road Runners will hold its sixth annual Spring Classic Run April 24. The event will feature a 5K run, a 5K walk and a 1K run for youngsters 12-under. All proceeds will benefit local law enforcement. Medals in each race will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. The entry fee is $9 if registered by April 21 and $12 on race day. The 5K will start at 8 a.m. at Mid America Rehab on the West Park Mall parking lot. The 1K will start at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Entry forms are available in Cape Girardeau at Mid America Rehab, Howard's Sporting Goods and the Southeast Missouri State University Student Recreation Center. In Jackson, entry forms are available at SEMO Specialties and Sports and Main Street Fitness.
