The signings keep rolling in for Southeast Missouri State University's men's basketball program.

Amory Sanders, a guard from Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, is the latest player to sign with the Indians, Southeast coach Gary Garner announced Friday.

The 6-foot-1 Sanders averaged 15.3 points and 2.3 assists per game last season at Three Rivers. He made 110 3-pointers while shooting 37 percent from behind the arc.

Sanders, a graduate of Bartlett High School in Memphis, Tenn., was first-team all-conference and all-Region 16 last season, when he was voted the top defensive player at Three Rivers.

"I really like the fact we are getting a great shooter from a well disciplined program like Three Rivers," said Garner. "When you get a player coached by Gene Bess you know you are getting a hard working player who understands the game."

Sanders is the eighth player to have signed with the Indians for next season and the fourth junior-college standout to recently commit.

Southeast has now used up its eight available scholarships although the Indians still might sign another player because there are some questions regarding the academic eligibility of a couple of the new recruits.
