CHARLESTON -- The final two first-round games in the 19th annual Charleston Girls Invitational Tournament were played Tuesday night.

In the first game, second-seeded Poplar Bluff blew out No. 7 Charleston 67-28.

No. 3 Notre Dame then handled No. 6 Scott County Central 64-50.

In semifinal games tonight, No. 1 Jackson will meet No. 4 Cape Central at 7 and Poplar Bluff will face Notre Dame at 8:30. The championship game will be played Saturday night at 7.

Emily Wyatt scored 16 points and Amy Hendricks added 14 in Poplar Bluff's win. The Lady Mules (16-1) held a 21-11 first-quarter advantage and led 39-16 at halftime.

Charleston's Carlota Mims had a team-high 15 points.

After a sluggish first quarter after which Notre Dame led 8-2, the Lady Bulldogs outscored Central 56-48 from there.

Olivia Beel and Randi Senciboy each scored 15 points for Notre Dame (14-5) and Rachael Schlosser added 12.

Vontrice Blackmon led Central (6-9) with 15 points and Tashika Raby added 12.
